The purpose of this Chartbook website is to provide stakeholders in the state of Ohio and in Ohio communities with easy-to-use and up-to-date information on child health in our state as well as data on the performance of the child health system in response to child needs and characteristics.

You will find information here on child physical, mental, oral health and special health care needs, as well as insurance coverage, access, unmet needs, and quality of care. The data in this first launch of the website come from the 2008 Ohio Family Health Survey. A companion print report can be downloaded from this site.

This online Chartbook website will be expanded over time as new data and analyses become available to serve as a one-stop resource center for all those concerned about child health and children’s health care in Ohio. We invite you to let us know which aspects of child health you need more information on so that we may ensure that this resource meets your needs!
